We should all be able to get away, even if only in our minds.
This summer my husband and two older kids will be escaping to Yellowstone.
I on the other hand will find other ways to escape.
Like mentally escaping to Prince Edward Island.
What do you do to escape?
Why in the world would your husband leave you when he and your two kids go to Yellowstone? I'll bet he really wants you to come. Maybe even he would fly you up there. I can put in a good word if you'd like to explore the flying option... I have the feeling he'd like to line up a sitter for the 2 yr old Alpha Male since the drive would be less than fun with him.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I heard of a guy (I think you know who I'm referring to) that really got into the "Anne of ..." series. Apparently, he was a realy manly man who was into heavy metal (if that makes you a manly man). I also heard of a lady who decided to watch the Rocky series and found it to be a surprisingly fun escape. GREAT POST...gave me something to think about.
Ummm can I tell you how bad I want to go to Prince Edward Island in person? Ditch Yellowstone and lets go there! Okay, really I like Apollo's idea...you should go!
